Attention: All Willowdale Clients,
In light of the continuing progression of the Covid 19 virus, effective today Willowdale has instituted the following policies to do our part to help control the potential spread of this virus.
- Anyone who has traveled and has returned to Canada after March 12 is requested to not come to the barn for 14 days from the date of return into the country.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be set up at the West door of the barn for everyone entering to use.
- Effective today, any school horse lessons where the clients share tack and brushes with others please check with your instructor regarding this matter. Also we are asking that only one parent come with their child at their time. We also ask that they sanitize and practice social distancing so there will be limited interactions with others.
- Boarders must also abide by these guidelines to sanitize and practice social distancing.
- In light of schools being closed, we are requesting that riders ride only at their lesson time for the next two weeks. Please stay advised as things are changing daily, and we are trying to do our part to keep everyone healthy.
- Please do not come to the barn if you are not feeling well or have members of your immediate family that are sick.
Thank you in regards to this unprecedented time and hope to do our part to keep our barn family healthy.
If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to call Jill (403) 598- 4933 , Kathy (403) 396-2679 or Justin (403) 391-1001

Willowdale Equine Centre is situated on approximately 160 acres of land in Red Deer County, Alberta just 9.5 kilometers East and 2 kilometers South of the city of Red Deer. Red Deer is a wonderful city with plenty of places to eat and shop as well as many hotels to choose from if you are an out of town client.
In 2008 we opened Willowdale Equine Centre and began boarding, training and giving lessons. We have prided ourselves on the happiness and health of our horses, and the ability of our instructors to offer the very best nurturing and guidance available in the community.
